Two new radio personalities (DJ's) are joining Runaway Radio Rock 101 KLOL!!!
(April 16, 2023) Rock 101 is about to add two new on-air personalities covering mid-days and evenings during the week. Ginger GenX will be taking the noon to 4pm time slot followed by Metal Mel will be taking the 4pm to 8pm. The H-Man will remain your late night rock jock on the air from 8 to midnight and beyond (He still hasn't learned how to tell time).
Runaway Radio's First Live Broadcast - It Was An Adventure.
(November 13, 2023) Runaway Radio had it's first live broadcast Sunday night the 12th with the H-Man. Despite multiple air checks and tests leading up the broadcast, there were sound quality issues from the start. Eventually the problem was traced to not one but two of the mixing boards. The problem was ultimately solved, going old school with an old analog mixer we just happened to have. We went off-air briefly to swap out equipment and the broadcast continued till midnight.
